Reading Eggs Special Needs Reviews & Testimonials
Read what special needs parents and teachers have to say about Reading Eggs (ages 3-7) and Reading Eggspress (ages 7-13).
“My son was diagnosed as severely dyslexic at 8 years old. Although he also had specialised tutors as well, he also enjoyed using Reading Eggs for practice and kept going with it into his late teens without any coaxing. He found it fun.” – Marianne
“My daughter was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2. She had learning disabilities because of autism and was late in achieving all her milestones. Her speech was very delayed and she only started to speak at the age of 5. I thought my daughter will never be able to read or achieve it at a very later stage. To my amazement she started to read within 5 months of starting with Reading Eggs. Now at the age of 5 years and 7 months she is ahead of her peers in reading.” – Ezaz
“Reading Eggs has been a god send for us at home. It's our go to that seems to fix things up whilst learning and having fun. I have twin girls with special needs and they are thriving using Reading Eggs. A favourite part of Reading Eggs is doing the activities to earn the golden eggs. This helps to encourage them where they want to do more. I also enjoy that I receive up to date emails to let me know the progress of the girls.” – Renee
“I am very happy with Reading Eggs for my granddaughter. She has difficulty in concentration and therefore has had considerable problems with reading. Even though she is in an online reading intervention program through her school she finds it boring as each section takes too long to complete and she finds herself starting over and over on the same material each time she logs in. Reading Eggs' short activity-based modules are excellent for her as she can concentrate for short periods and the Reading Eggs modules are fun and short. I can see an improvement already and she has only been doing the program for a few weeks.” – Yvonne
“Our adult son has an intellectual disability. He has been using Reading Eggs with support now for 2 years. He thoroughly enjoys the program and has made definite improvements in his reading ability and vocabulary. Would highly recommend.” – Cathy
“I love it. First we used it at my school for children K–2 and decided to try it at home with my preschool son and highly recommended it. He was improving his letter recognition and letter sounds [and] was able to stay on task for 20 minutes independently which I needed him to be able to do to get ready for kindergarten. My child has Autism so I have tried other programs and he loses interests and requires that I help him…This is one he did not complain or mind at all. Plus he calls it the egg game. I see this as a win. He thinks it is a game which means he will keep playing and learning. Mom is happy he is learning and working independently. What more can I ask for.” – Diana
“This program is amazing, especially during this world pandemic. I'm happy to say my son is doing well! My son is 6 years old and have missed out on months of his kindergarten year and this is definitely making up for it! He is also autistic and it's so good for him to have so much fun doing his work. He pushes himself on his skills too! Thank you! So glad I bought the year subscription! I was very impressed with the free trial, which made the decision to buy that much easier!” – Amy
“My daughter is dyslexic and struggles reading. I homeschool her due to classes being so large she does not get the one-on-one she needs to succeed. Since starting Reading Eggs she has excelled dramatically and loves to read and spell. Absolutely love this program. She looks forward to her course every day. Thank you for giving her a chance to learn and grow!” – Felisha
“I have a son with autism and dyslexia. He has a hard time pronouncing letters and spelling. With this app he has improved, he is also reading short easy sentences.” – Maria
“My girls really enjoy Reading Eggs. My youngest with autism asks to do it. She can repeat lessons as she needs to for refreshers.” – Margie
“Our son has autism and is in his teen years now. We have loved watching him learn to read with Reading Eggs. Fortunately, he knew his sounds early on, but the program has really helped him take the consonant and vowel sounds to the word level and onto sentence structure. Thank you Reading Eggs for helping all sorts of children and teens advance and embrace their potential.” – Debra
“We love Reading Eggs. We tried several learning apps and this one has been our favourite. I am a homeschool grandma of one almost 8‑year‑old who has been diagnosed with Dyslexia and this has been a great tool to supplement tutoring!! Thank you.” – Jaque
“We have loved the Reading Eggs & Mathseeds program. My son is Autistic and has an Intellectual Disability so this program works for him with his struggles in learning to read.” – Melody
“Kids navigate the website easily. Great for early readers/middleschool with Dyslexia. We supplement our homeschool curriculum with Reading Eggs. It allows the teacher to have a break while the child is still learning and having fun doing it. We have two kids enrolled and will have two additional non‑English speakers starting very soon. I am hopeful this will be a good supplement for them to learn English grammar.” – Emily
“Great program! Works well for my autistic/dyslexic son. We also love Mathseeds! He gets frustrated so easily, but he actually asks to do Reading Eggs and Mathseeds. You have made learning to read fun for my son; a first for us!!! Thank you!” – Mama J
“Reading Eggs has been a wonderful program for my two grandsons, ages 6 and 3. My 6‑year‑old grandson is on the autism spectrum and Reading Eggs has helped him so much with not only sight words but also in maths. He is in Kindergarten and while there are struggles, this program gets his attention and keeps him on task for longer periods. There are fun games and songs along the way. We tried another popular program and I just couldn't get him to be interested in it. His little brother has learned a lot by watching and playing some of the games too. I highly recommend Reading Eggs for any child 3 years old and up.” – Tina
“My daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia at the beginning of the school year. I used Reading Eggs as a supplement to her lessons. She has come up 83 on the Lexile. This is an awesome program” – Jennifer
“We have used this program as an addition to our English homeschool program. Both our kids have used this program. Oldest used Reading Eggspress and loved it! We also have a struggling 2nd grade reader. Also, believe to be a little ADD/dyslexia. Reading Eggs has kept her interest and love of learning how to read. The games, songs and earning eggs after a lesson captures her attention. She loves getting rewarded for her work!” – Jem
“I love Reading Eggs!!!! I tried other programs and my child, who is on the autism spectrum, found them exasperating. She has a very low frustration tolerance but LOVES Reading Eggs. Her reading has skyrocketed since we started this program–seriously. This is a kid who says she doesn't like to read, and her sight reading has improved by leaps and bounds. I am really impressed with this program.” – Davene Wasser
“This is a great program. I've used it for 3 of my 5 kids. Two of them have dyslexia and this has helped them reinforce hard to learn skills in a fun way. My only frustrations are caused by occasional glitches and the program freezing up every so often. But this hasn't caused any major problems. This program is used almost daily.” – Sarah
“Both of my children (7‑year‑old boy/girl twins) love Reading Eggs. I am a homeschool mum and one of my kids has autism and the other was not really motivated to read but that has changed once they started using Reading Eggs. Now, almost every day they are on my laptop and engaged and most importantly, excited about reading now!” – Robyn
“I am the parent of a 4th grade student with autism. We are using Reading Eggs and Mathseeds to "catch up". This is the first computer program my son can do independently. He uses Reading Eggs and Mathseeds nightly for 15 minutes per program without needing a reminder. I also appreciate it includes instruction as opposed to just drills. Wish I had found years ago.” – Angel
“My son is diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia and he has shown enormous growth in his 3rd grade by using this program for after school practice. It covers all the skills that he needs to help become successful in school.” – Suzanna
“My little great grandson is Autistic but is really loving learning to read. He loves the different pages and is doing so good. I am so proud of him.” – Becky
“Everything about Reading Eggs is amazing. The ordering process is fast and easy. I use Reading Eggs as part of our homeschool curriculum for two of my kids. They have both made excellent improvement in their reading skills. I have tried everything for my dyslexic daughter and nothing has helped until Reading Eggs. I absolutely love this program!” – Heather
“I can't say enough good things about Reading Eggs. My daughter is 7 and has had a great deal of trouble with all things to do with reading. We had purchased two other curriculums with promises of “this will do it”. Needless to say they did not do it for my daughter, but once we signed up with Reading Eggs a new world opened up to her. All the interactive videos and free reading books have changed how she is learning. I should mention that my daughter has childhood apraxia of speech, dyslexia and ADHD. We love this program!!!!” – Rachel
“Great learning tool! Keeps my autistic son engaged.” – Kim
“My 10-year-old dyslexic daughter just started reading proficiently in the last couple of months. She is enjoying your Reading Eggspress.” – Alysha Leidel
“This works for my autistic son; the visuals and sounds engage him, and the price is affordable.” – Kim
“My son has dyslexia and autism, so reading isn't easy for him. Reading Eggs has been interesting, keeping him engaged, and doesn't seem condescending and too cartoonish the way other online programs often do. It explains things clearly. He really enjoys the time he spends on the program.” – Rhonda
“My 7-year-old daughter and I both LOVE this program. Reading has been a real struggle for her because of a neurological speech disorder called childhood apraxia of speech combined with dyslexia. Language, reading and really anything having to do with school has been hard. Reading Eggs has been a true blessing. She loves the interactive games, and I love that everything is educational. We have tried other online school programs and they focused too much on fun and not so much education. I sit with her through the lessons, but very soon she will be doing them completely on her own. This program is working and could truly be your only reading program, but I like to continue to supplement with another reading program (just because we need that much extra help).” – Rachel
“My son has just turned 6. We suspect he has dyslexia. Thanks to Reading Eggs he can recognise sounds and can blend them. We had tried other methods before, but nothing worked. He didn't seem interested. Since he started to use Reading Eggs at school we have noticed a huge improvement. He loves the games. He has fun and is happy to do a bit every day at home. Months ago we discovered Mathseeds, he loves doing the tests so he can play the car game! The math tests are short and the car game encourages him to get all the questions right. It's perfect! Both son and mum are happy! Fast Phonics is very handy for us. As he usually forgets some sounds he has seen already, Fast Phonics gives us the chance of reviewing them. He loves the interactive games.” – Noe
“My son really loves Reading Eggs. He is 7 years old and has Autism so is behind for his age for reading. This site makes him feel like he is learning to read and it's fun and engaging for him. We all love it.” – Sarah
“My special needs son is progressing slowly, but he is having fun learning on the computer.” – Tenn
“This is one online resource my 5-year-old son with some developmental delays loves! I have tried a lot of others but Reading Eggs made it interactive enough to engage him! The program is so rich and fun too! Money well spent, I would say! Thank you so much!! I can't get him to stop when he starts! Wow!! Awesome job!!” – Paragon
“Reading Eggs has played a big part in helping my son who is autistic. I home school my son and this has become a big part of his studies. He enjoys learning and is more engaged. Thank you for helping my son make great strides forward!” – Renee
“The only improvement I would suggest, is saying the words you want them to learn more often. Otherwise, we love it! Even my autistic son is doing this!” – Carrie
“This reading program has helped my Dyslexic son go from being a non-reader to reading in three months' time!” – Megan
“My son is on the autism spectrum and Reading Eggs has made home schooling so much easier. He loves it! It has made learning so much more fun. Thank you for helping my son make great strides forward!” – Renee
“My child has special needs. He LOVES Mathseeds! This is incredible because math is very hard for him to understand but with Mathseeds he is progressing steadily. Thank you!” – Susan
“Super helpful, has made a world of difference for my son with a language disorder.” – Kasee
“This program has been so incredibly rewarding in helping my mom homeschool my son, Taylor that is autistic. WE LOVE IT. And This year I paid additional for my 3‑year‑old because we plan on homeschooling her as well. THANK YOU Reading Eggs!!!!!” – Crista
“There is always a fight as to who gets to go first. My 1st grade daughter needs extra help at school as she has some learning disabilities. This reinforces her school work and manages to hold her attention better than anything else she does at home or school.” – Simone
“Reading eggs helped to save my child!!! No. Literally! Collin is profoundly autistic and was floundering in a rural public school that had no idea what to do with him. At 12 1/2 years old they threw up their hands. They told us he was "hopelessly unteachable and an unethical waste of resources." (Yeah. They seriously said that) we pulled him out of school and I, his great‑aunt, took on the task of his education. I didn't know how I was gonna do it, but I wasn't going to accept what they said. My boy is super (diabolically sometimes) smart. In Texas the laws of homeschooling are very relaxed, so I was just winging it while I searched for an answer. After 3 months of searching, I found Reading Eggs. Reading Eggs was transforming for Collin. Within 6 months he was reading. Not only reading but doing math!!! He loves the characters like they are his best friends. The lessons are highly motivating and fun. Each time we think we have gotten all we can out of this program, more appears. We love that our characters 'grew up' at one point so we see that we too are growing and learning. I know this was invented with pre‑schoolers in mind. I recommend it to all my friends with toddlers. Collin's baby sister will get her own subscription in a couple of years. But it has been the perfect fit for this one child who just needed to learn in a different way, with patience and love. Thank you so very much!” – Leigh
“Easiest reading curriculum around! This program worked wonderfully for both my dyslexia students and other students! Thank you!!!!” – Candy
“Great for a Down Syndrome child who needs to do the same thing MANY times.” – Terilynn
“My son is 16 years old and special needs. I like that Reading Eggs has a variety of exercises and builds on previous skills. So many reading 'games' are so random that they are really just something to keep kids busy and not really helping them learn. One thing I wish they would change are exercises that are timed. My sons motor skills are not perfect and sometimes he can't complete some levels, not because he doesn't know the answer, but because he can't click on things in time.” – Patty
“Reading Eggs provides a variety of activities for learning through lessons that capture our son's attention. He previously struggled with other online curriculums. This format works well for him, especially with having a learning delay. We have been very pleased every step of the way.” – Crystal
“We love Reading Eggs! One of our boys has dyslexia. Reading Eggs has been amazing for helping him learn to read and overcome his struggles!! Our youngest son is learning to read. He loves all the games. He can't wait to play, every day he asks. I love that the program works and that we were able to use the iPad apps too! We can take the games on the go. I don't mind letting my kids spend a little time on their devices when I know they are learning.” – Kelly
“I have an autistic 7‑year‑old and he loves this! He has learned so much! The lessons are still too hard for my 3‑year‑old but he loves the activities!” – Elise
“All 3 of my kids who use this…love it! My child with autism uses it too. Thank you!” – Carrie
“We use this program along with paper worksheets to customize our homeschool program for our 4, 6, & 8‑year‑old sons. Our eldest has been tested and diagnosed with dyslexia. This program is wonderful for all of our sons, traditional and non‑traditional learners. It is a work at your own pace program and I love the feedback email I receive when they pass a quiz or move to another map level. They love customizing their character and being rewarded with eggs and acorns to spend on their own personal house or to play games in the program. It is such a diverse program, we haven't even discovered everything involved, and we've been working with this and Mathseeds for well over a year and a half. As a parent I can change my children's levels on the program whenever I feel they need more exposure to a concept. I love how self‑driven the program is, as well. Very satisfied with our experience and we all very much enjoy daily use of the program.” – Jenn
“I loved it for my autistic son I home schooled.” – Carole
“My daughter has dyslexic characteristics. Reading Eggs has been a tremendous adjunct for her!” – Kim
“I've tried other reading helpers for my pre‑schooler and for my older child with learning disabilities. This one helped the most. It's the most user friendly for kids.” – Carrie
“We have really benefited from Reading Eggs and Math Seeds to homeschool our special needs daughter. Computer education works best for her and she very much enjoys each math and reading lesson. As a mother and teacher, I like the ability to print extra materials and the fact that each lesson includes review as well as the new material. There are always little improvements to be made but overall, readingeggs.com has been of great benefit to us and I recommend it often!” – April
“Perfect for my son who has learning difficulties.” – Heather
“Very good for son with autism.” – Jane
“I have two adult children with severe mental disabilities. They love your website.” – Daphne
“I just love Reading Eggs, I have been through many reading programs with my dyslexic autistic son. This is by far better to anything we paid for. Better than Fast Foward, Brain Balance Centres or Linda Mood Bell. Try it you will not be disappointed.” – Melinda
“My three‑year‑old daughter loves play Reading Eggs and is able to identify many letters because of it. My seven‑year‑old also is using Reading Eggs as she has a learning disability and it has been very helpful.” – Royanne
“Has taught my son with a sensory processing disorder a lot and he's now prepared for kindergarten!!” – Sarah
“This site has been helpful for my son who is very dyslexic.” – Marianne
“Very good site for my autistic boy.” – Larissa
“My son has a genetic condition which causes him to have a low IQ, anxiety and autism. He only has an IQ between 49 and 54. Math is supposed to be the most challenging skill for people who have his condition. After four years of public school he was barely counting to 20 with 1 to 1 correspondence and could read 150 sight words that he had memorized. He was in middle school and not being taught anything, so I began homeschooling him and found Reading Eggs and Math Seeds. He is making amazing progress with both programs ‑ greater than anyone thought possible. His vocabulary has greatly increased, he is sounding out words and reading much better and can even tell the main idea of the reading passage. In math he can add and subtract and understand place value and skip counting. I would highly recommend Reading Eggs and Math Seeds.” – Kimberly
“I have a 9‑year‑old child who has Down Syndrome and it is a great help to me as a homeschooling mom because she has to do things so many times in order to remember. This program allows us to go back and do it over and over until she gets it but also has enough variety to keep her attention.” – Terilynn
“I homeschool my grandson; he has high functioning autism and in 1st grade. This site has helped so much with his reading. We try to include it in his school work every day. The only bad thing I have found is that at the end of some of the lessons it will not load or has a problem loading the next. That has happened several times. We also take a break from school during the summer so we are not using it much if at all until school starts back. So I kind of feel like I'm missing a lot of time that I have paid for during those few months. Would be nice if you could actually not have days taken away from subscription unless we actually used that day. But as far as the program teaching the kids to read and being easy to use is great.” – Lisa
“I home school my son, who is 9 and has Down Syndrome. We have tried many programs, but Reading Eggs has kept him interested and he progressing quickly. Their customer service is excellent!” – Mickele
“A great entertaining tool for children with reading disabilities. It works!!!! I just love Reading Eggs. I wish the Special Ed dept at my school used it. I also can say it helped my son more than Fast Forward and Linda Mood Bell, that costs 10,000 a month. Dislexia combined with autism is a challenge, I tried everything, honestly Reading Eggs was the one program that actually worked. Thank you Reading Eggs!!! 🤗💖💕” – Melinda
“Reading Eggs has become part of our homeschooling curriculum. We have used it for several years. I use it to reinforce reading and math skills that the children are learning. The lessons balance teaching and student practice with colourful interactive games. My children love this program. I have 4 children including an autistic son and they have all benefited greatly from this program. I highly recommend Reading Eggs, Reading Express and Math Seeds.” – Mariah
“My daughter is special needs. She has seizures and hearing loss along with a learning disability. I started Reading Eggs in May to help her learn to read and I'm also teaching her outside of the program. She is doing so much better now that I've had her on the program! The only complaint that she had was the sound of Sam's feet on the treadmill in one of the lessons was making it hard for her to hear the letter sound. Again, this is due to her having a hearing loss. She gets her hearing aid in December and this should improve! I recommend using headphones” – Amanda
“I have been using this program (along with Math Seeds and Reading Express) for my children for the last three years. One child has a significant learning disability and this program really focuses his attention. He loves it. My third grader is reading novels, but Reading Express helps with skills like main idea, cause and effect, reading for comprehension and details, etc. This focus helps prepare him for yearly evaluations. Both children are making significant achievements at their grade level. I don't have to be on them to get their work done because they are having fun while learning. It's actually making them take a break from it and do other assignments that I have to watch!” – Deb
“Reading Eggs is awesome! I homeschool and we love it. My son has an auditory processing disorder. We had tried teaching reading to him for a year and a half and he still struggled to read cat. Within two months of this program he was reading amazingly well. I had no idea how quickly he was learning to read. I knew he was able to read simple words but over breakfast he read the words on my shirt including the word chiropractor! Then he read the signs in my kitchen including "scramble on over for eggs." He was reading all the signs on the road as we drove. He begs to do the program. My sister and I have 10 kids together and all the ones old enough use and love this program. We love Mathseeds as well. Several of our kids have learning struggles and their program is truly amazing. Our kids don't get tired of it. We love the educational books and library in the program. I can't say enough good things about this program. We have ended up getting most of their apps for our kids iPads to supplement the program as well. I love that as a teacher I can change their level to where they need to be and see their progress. This is a secular program so we do have to talk to our kids about things that we might believe differently. However it is easy to monitor, lots of fun and makes learning fun. I can't recommend this enough. It is great for our boys and girls. It is so exciting as a mom to watch then begging to learn and do school. The reading comprehension in Reading Eggspress is so helpful. I have noticed improvements in all areas of study after using it with my older children. The math lines up with and supplements really well with our math curriculum so that they actually know most of the concepts before we teach them. I can't believe how much my kindergartener knows in math. And he is so excited about learning it! The program is 100% worth it and is honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made for my homeschool. Our kids love writing stories now. They are forced to read all types of literature to continue on the map and earn rewards. They learn how to both read and understand what is read. They are also learning history and science. The program has so many more features than I had realized when I purchased it. I tell all of my homeschool friends about it. I really never review or promote things but this program is so much better than I dreamed and helped my son and kids so much I can't help but excitedly recommend it to people.” – Rene
“This program is the best out there! Great for my beginning reader and even for my 4th grade dyslexic daughter!” – Amanda
“Engaging, easy to understand, and it includes multiple skills within the lesson (rhyming, numbers of sounds, sight word recognition, letter & print recognition, and more). My son was able to continue with the lessons even if he was struggling with one part such as rhyming because each individual skill was just one piece of the lesson. This helped him build confidence and not give up while working on the different skills. My son is Autistic and this is the only curriculum that he can stay engaged with, causes only limited frustration, and is engaging for him. We are using Reading Eggs & Math Seeds as the majority of our Kindergarten curriculum and both are excellent.” – Marcia
“I am homeschooling my now 8‑year‑old Autistic son. It is difficult to keep his attention, but Reading Eggs/Mathseeds has been our salvation. I am grateful for this product at such an affordable cost.” – Kim
“My son, who is 9 and has Down Syndrome, loves your program (along with me.) He is homeschooled and we have tried many programs and this one he is engaged in and like to keep going. I am already seeing a difference in his reading skills and I am thrilled! Also, customer service is the best I have ever come across. Helpful, friendly, and easy to work with.” – Mickele
“Our son is severely dyslexic. He had made progress reading with Reading Eggs! He has been using Reading Eggs for 2 months and he asks every day to go on Reading Eggs. I thought the novelty would wear off but each day he works in Reading Eggs on his own and still loves it. For a boy with severe dyslexic to finally made reading progress…Hats off to you! Great product!” – M.L.
“My son has high‑functioning autism spectrum disorder and adores computers, therefore he is committed to your program and absorbs the content. My son’s ability to learn how to read is enhanced by his condition, and Reading Eggs provides him with the tools he needs to achieve this. My son has a language and communication impairment and Reading Eggs has also enhanced his speech and communication!! He laughs at the animations and finds the lessons enjoyable and fun.” – Linda
“My son has autism and I actually never thought he would be able to read…he is now 11 and has in the last 18 months begun to learn…all because of his love for Reading Eggs. So thanks!” – Annette
“…Reading Eggs is FANTASTIC. I have just purchased the books, activity books and flashcards for my students that I work with as a special needs teacher in a primary school, who are struggling readers. They LOVE it too (boys!). Thanks for your help and thanks for an AWESOME program for engaging, unenthusiastic and young readers!!!” – Erin
“I would just like to say a big thank you to Reading Eggs. What a wonderful learning tool this is. My daughter is 10 years old and has Down Syndrome. She has not been given any opportunity to learn to read and write at her school which is so disappointing and heart‑breaking as she desperately wants to learn and be like her brother and sister. She started using Reading Eggs over the weekend and I am astounded at how quickly she is picking up simple words and sentences. She is so eager to get on and ‘play’ the wonderful and engaging games. I can’t thank you enough, I wish I found you earlier. I know that she will be reading and writing in no time using this site. She is so pleased with herself and what she has achieved so far. Thanks again.” – Kerstin
“My son has severe dyspraxia involving verbal, fine and gross motor skills. Since starting school he has lost all confidence in learning literacy, and avoids any literacy activities like the plague. Not so with Reading Eggs. It has given him much more than reading abilities. I can’t keep him off or get him to stop working on Reading Eggs.” – Jody
“Reading Eggs has been the best purchase for our homeschool this year. Our 8‑year‑old dyslexic son loves and learns from this visually exciting program. It has helped his reading and also his writing as he has started his own ‘Reading Eggs’ story book! He draws his own map, creates characters for each level and writes a story for each one. Amazing!” – Edyth N.
“I just wanted to comment on this great program that has made a huge change with my son’s ability to read. Riley is 4‑and‑a‑half but was recently diagnosed with a severe receptive language disorder. I first saw this program advertised on the ABC channel and I thought that this might help Riley. I am so surprised at the improvement of his understanding of letters and words already. Because of his disorder it has been hard to see how his development with reading and his understanding of letters and sounds are, but this has shown me how bright and capable he is. I’m so grateful. I encourage Riley to do a lesson or two a day and the results have been amazing. I have started to recommend this program to other mothers I know that have children with similar difficulties. Well done to the creators of the Reading Eggs program and thank you for making reading easier and enjoyable for my Riley.” – Candice
“Oh my god! For anyone waiting for reading recovery at your local school like I have for the past two terms in a private school with a child with a language disorder – don’t bother! Thankyou Reading Eggs, you are the happy ending to a distressed mother wanting help for her son to learn how to read!” – Josephine
“This program is brilliant!! It keeps my students motivated (hard to do with special needs students) and allows them to achieve success immediately. I would thoroughly recommend this program to ALL primary school teachers.” – Andrew Johnson, South Bunbury Education Support Centre
“ I'm loving it! The boys, five and seven find it easy to navigate! My five-year-old calls it "congratulations" because he hears it so often! I'm being asked if they can do their Reading Eggs! After an hour and a half to two hours I'm telling them they need to take a break! My favorite thing is the ability to go back! If I feel they are guessing their way through a level, we can go back! This program has saved my sanity! Both of the boys (my grandchildren that live with me full time) are special needs kids, the oldest had an IEP last year as he had a TBI when he was three, and the five-year-old has multiple issues. Teaching the boys at home has been a challenge especially with reading! ” – Charity LeRoy
“ My daughter is in kindergarten in a private school and started falling behind in her reading. She was really struggling. Her teacher and doctor wanted her evaluated for dyslexia, but most resources are either overwhelmed to the point of not being able to see her for 6 to12 months and the school district doesn’t want to address it until 2nd to 3rd grade. She has such a love of learning so I was devastated to think she was struggling and might start to dislike it. I started doing some research to see what I could do to help and came across an article that listed apps that could be helpful for kids with dyslexia. Reading Eggs was on that list, so I gave it a try. She played it all weekend long for hours, which normally I wouldn’t want her on her iPad for so long, but she was progressing, dramatically! You can’t believe the difference it made! It’s been two weeks and she went from not being able to put sounds together to reading short sentences now. I am so relieved and excited, and she loves the app. I am so grateful. I’m a single mom so it took a huge weight off my shoulders. Thank you for reaching out and please feel free to pass on my love for this app. ” – Tiffany
